Sunday Night Football features a matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys this week, and it's the Eagles who have drawn first blood, scoring an opening drive touchdown to take a 7-0 lead.
The men in the middle for Philadelphia? Take a wild guess.
That's right, it was Mike Vick and DeSean Jackson. In what seemed like a surreal replay of the first play from scrimmage in that Monday night game against the Washington Redskins, Vick let fly on a deep ball on the first play of the game. And 60 yards later, former Cal star DeSean Jackson hauled it in.
That put the Eagles on the Dallas 13 yard line, and Vick would run it in from a yard out a few plays later. And for the record, he dunked the ball over the goal post afterward.
What else can you say about Vick at this point? The dude is custom-designed for prime time. Here's hoping he gets paid in the offseason.
But wait, the Cowboys just tied the score at 7-7 on a one-yard pass from Jon Kitna to Jason Witten.
