Mike Miller's Return to the Lineup is Imminent

Mike Miller has been out since training camp after suffering a thumb injury. He underwent surgery on October 22, and he's currently ahead of the initial projected timetable for his recovery.

He returned to practice last week and he's been traveling with the team and getting extensive workouts in.

Coach Erik Spolestra says the injury is healed and that he's ready to play. Right now, the only thing standing in his path between sitting out and suiting up is team president, Pat Riley.

There's a chance he plays tonight, but if he doesn't, he shouldn't be out of the rotation further than Thursday's matchup with the Phoenix Suns. His presence will be sorely needed on Christmas day when the Heat visit Los Angeles and getting in some game action prior to that will be necessary.
